Engine 63, like engine 61, is a first due apparatus. You may notice both machines look very much alike. Engine 63 is a Seagrave pumper which carries 750 gallons of water and has within it's first preconnect line, a foam producer which induces foam to the water in instances where fuel or other flammable liquids are a primary hazard. This machine has a longer wheelbase than E61 and because of this is able to carry more tools and eqipment. This lead machine also has a portable Holmatro© "self contained combi-tool" for when extrication is required and as part of the “R.I.T. Pack” or Rapid Intervention Team pack.
