Engine 64 is now in service running first due out of Station #1! This engine was purchased using grant money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. E64 is a 2006 Seagrave pumper carrying 1000 gallons of water. It has two 1-3/4” pre-connect hose lines and one 2-1/2” pre-connect hose lines. E64 also carries an assortment of forcible entry tools and Holmatro© hydraulic tools to begin vehicular extrication work, when seconds count, prior to the rescue truck’s arrival. The bell you see pictured here was handed down from our retired E64, a 1973 Seagrave pumper. A special thanks goes out to Firefighter Kenny Riordan for all of his work customizing all of the compartments and his thoughtful consideration of equipment placement on this engine!
