TRFD has accepted delivery of Rescue 66, our brand new 2007 HME Heavy Duty Rescue. It has the capability of carrying a six member crew on board complete with air pack bottles in the rear and front jump-seats and basic HAZMAT equipment. Once officially in service, this rig will carry a wide variety of Holmatro© tools and equipment for vehicular extrication, building collapse, and trench rescue operations. The Homatro© tools were recently purchased through a FEMA grant which was applied for by TRFD’s Volunteer Firefighter Mark Greene. 

We will have ice water rescue and warm water rescue tools on-board this rescue as well. There is also a a rescue air bag system for low pressure and high pressure lifting of heavy objects such as cars or debris from a collapse situation. The rescue air bag system was also purchased through the FEMA grant we were awarded. All other equipment is purchased through donations gathered through our fund raising efforts. Thank YOU for contributing! It means a great deal to us!
